All along the fortress tents displayed or had tutorials on how goods were made and of course everyone wore the traditional garb.
One of the many food stands, we tried a porkroast sandwich, goulash soup, crepes, cheeses, and my fav homemade donuts I meant to take a pic but ate then before I remembered. Delish!
My favorite room in the fortress, it had booths all along the sides, christmas trees placed near the tables, big huge medieval lanterns, lots of exposed old beams and of course old brick walls, very cozy and festive!
Manger set up for the kids with a donkey, sheep and two camels you could ride

A few of the Churches in Amberg

Inside a Protestant Church
The Lady's Church, it was being renovated so we were unable to go inside, very small compared to the other ones, you can barely see the door on the bottom left. Although the steeple was very unique.
This pic and the next few are of St George Church, the first church of Amberg built in 1359 it started out as Gothic then updated to Baroque. You can see the church steeple rises above the city's walls.
You think the doors are large enough?
Come all Ye Faithful...
Another church we saw, lots of gold so it was gated behind the pews.
