Swim Class

Archie had his first swim class today at the YMCA and did great.  He really enjoyed the water and gets to have 8 more lessons--Mondays and Wednesdays. Little Water Monkey in the making!

On Sunday afternoon we headed down to Shelton to celebrate Grandpa's birthday as a family. The kids loved playing together--especially tug-o-war with the chain.

On Saturday we took a nice hike in the Olympic National Forest--Buddy stayed cozy and dry in his new pack!

We met Grandpa and Grandma to celebrate Grandpa's birthday at a great Japanese restaurant. Archie really loved the miso soup!

Portland/Cannon Beach

We headed down south this weekend to see friends and family. First stop was with the Wilsons--our great friends from AZ who now live in Portland. Cam is encouraging Buddy here to take his first stroll.

After visting with the Wilsons, we stopped into downtown Portland to spend some time with Aunt Kathy and watch some football before heading down to Cannon Beach.

Eating solids are slow going for Archie, he is eating an orange slice for the first time. He first examines everything I give him then will make the face according to his discovery.

We had a nice visit and chat with Great Grandma, Herb, Aunt Robin and Uncle Tom. Gram made a delicious German coffee cake that was perfect with the strong coffee!
